I’ve started my last semester of college 3 weeks ago and I’m loving my classes. I’m only taking 2 classes and then I’ll have my Personal Trainer certificate, which is very exciting. One of the classes mostly focuses on how to coach and how to give one-on-one training. The other class is a workout class, which is great to help me get in shape before I take a job as a Personal Trainer. Continue reading
About a month ago, my friend Sae, who I got to know through the Herbalife community, invited me to go down to the beach to do some yoga. I thought it was worth a try, since I had been wanting to get my first real yoga experience for a while now. And let’s be honest… What better setting to have a relaxing yoga session than right on the beach?! Continue reading
I ran my second half marathon 2 weekends ago and I’m so proud of myself because not only broke a personal record, I also finished in less than 2 hours which was my goal! My exact time was 1:56:51, which made me the 1,881st person to finish out of 25,000! Can you imagine how awesome that feels? Continue reading
In 5 weeks I’m running the Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco and I couldn’t be more excited about it! Ever since I heart about this race I’ve been wanting to actually run it. The last 2 editions I would sit behind my phone on race days and check out the hashtags of the race so I could see how everything looked and which price the winners would get. Continue reading
As you’ve probably seen, it’s been a while since I covered a ‘health post’. A couple of months ago I gained a large number of followers due to my healthy post and I feel like I should keep writing about my ways to stay healthy not only for them, but for me too.
The Bulu Box of April was pretty full and the products I found inside were pretty interesting. My favorite of the month was the Swirl Green Tea because it tastes really well, helps you cut calories and increase health benefits and because it’s easy. It makes you enjoy drinking your ‘water’ and you can either infuse it in hot or cold water.
The other products in the box were: Continue reading
I mentioned the Natura products that I was using in a previous post about my running essentials, but I didn’t really share all the information about the product because I was still in the starting phase of using the products. That’s why I decided to write a full article about it today. Keep reading if you want to know more about these products and if you want to make a chance to win them. Continue reading
Last weekend I went all the way up to Santa Barbara where I ran my first half marathon. I was so excited about this because I worked hard to get in shape and to be able to run a good time. Continue reading
This week is the last week of school, which means lots of pot locks. For my weight lifting class we decided to all bring something healthy, so I decided to get crafty in the kitchen and make these delicious and pretty easy oven baked sweet potato chips. I just recently got these amazing jars at Bormioli Rocco and I thought they were perfect to present my healthy recipes in. What do you think about them? 😉 Continue reading
A little more than a month ago I received my first Healthy Surprise box and I loved it! This subscription box was full of healthy snacks. All the snacks are gluten free, natural, wheat free, corn free and plant based. Unlike other subscription boxes, Healthy Surprise provides you with full size snacks. Continue reading
