The meaning of photography

Say Queso (5 of 12)

I took a break from taking pictures for a little bit, because I just didn’t have time to do what I love at all. I started feeling overworked, tired and just without any energy. About 2 weeks ago, I picked up the camera again and I realized how much I missed doing this and how happy it makes me. For the last couple of days, I tried taking my camera with me again when I go to places and I decided to just use this as some kind of stress reliever.  Continue reading

I ran my second half marathon 2 weekends ago and I’m so proud of myself because not only broke a personal record, I also finished in less than 2 hours which was my goal! My exact time was 1:56:51, which made me the 1,881st person to finish out of 25,000! Can you imagine how awesome that feels? Continue reading

InstaSummer

Instagram JuneJulyAugust

I used to always post my most liked pictures of Instagram on the blog, but since the last couple of months were so busy for me and I barely had the time to even open up my computer and start typing a blog post, I didn’t really keep up with this monthly blog tradition. That’s why I decided to just do a post on my most liked pictures of the summer! Continue reading

Drive through San Francisco

SF (3 of 11)

During last month’s road trip we made a very quick stop in San Francisco as it was on our way to Slaiden’s grandparents. We basically drove through and saw the iconic bridge, Lombard Street and some view points. After having taken a couple of pictures like that, we parked the car and walked by the water. I loved seeing all the sea lions by Pier 39, but I couldn’t believe the amount of tourists I saw (I believe we were there on a Wednesday!).  Continue reading

The first pumpkin patch of the year

Pumpkin patch (9 of 17)

This weekend, I drove by a pumpkin patch on my way to a health event and as it was not that far from my house (about a half an hour walk) I decided to take Slaiden the next day. We walked all the way up to the pumpkin patch and he absolutely loved it. He still doesn’t really know what a pumpkin is though. He was yelling ‘ball’ the whole time and trying to kick it. The owners’ little girl was helping us out and showing us all the different sizes of the pumpkins and even though she was probably only 6 years old, she did a great job and Slaiden loved hanging out with her! They were interacting so well! Running together, playing hide and seek… They did it all. Continue reading

Pinkberry

Pinkberry (2 of 4)

Normally I go to Pinkberry every week. It’s a thing for Slaiden and I. We both love to try the different flavors and pick out our favorite toppings. I’m usually choosing for half coconut and half chocolate hazelnut flavor. If you haven’t tried it before, you should try it! It tastes amazing! Continue reading
