In June, I went on a family road trip from Salt Lake City to Jordan (Montana), with stops in the most beautiful places. Among those was Yellowstone National Park, which is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to. Continue reading

Yosemite National Park
I drove to Yosemite in December to explore this gorgeous national park. It was probably the coldest weekend of the month, cause I was literally freezing. I would go explore for an hour and then go back to the car to warm up for a while. It was amazing though. I saw a bobcat, deer, many birds and many other amazing things that make this country so beautiful. Of course I explored the whole park with my camera close by me the whole time. I loved just wandering around and snapping pictures of what I thought was beautiful. It’s so important to do the things you love and to make time for them. Photography and traveling are my biggest passions and I love that with the life I’m living I can take the time to continue doing what I love. Continue reading
Please don’t make me put on chains!
How many of you are girls and have (just like me) no clue how to put chains on the wheels of your car when it’s snowing heavily? It had been hot the whole month of December in California, so the last thing I thought I’d have to do is to drive in the snow. Of course, two days before my road trip a snow storm passed through Sequoia and there I was, stressing out about having to put those chains on my rental car. I never had to actually put them on, thank God, but it gave me a good amount of stress. Continue reading
Sequoia National Park
About 2 weeks before Strider was born, I was on my winter break and decided to take little trip to Yosemite and Sequoia. I had been wanting to see those national parks for a while now, but I never seemed to find the time. I planned the trip very last minute, rented a car 2 days before I left and I must say, it was one of the coolest trips I’ve made to date. Continue reading
Looking for pine cones on the trail
Back in October when the leaves started coming off the trees and there were pine cones everywhere, I took Slaiden and his bear to the trail close to our house and let him run around free and enjoy the nature. I remember that back when I was little I loved playing with all the leaves and the other things I found on the ground outside. Of course I was a little older than him from what I remember, but knowing how active he is I knew it would be the perfect activity. Continue reading
Little guy, big trees
Have you ever been watching something that made you think how amazing nature is? I was watching Slaiden run in between all these trees that were 10 or 20 times taller than he is and it just amazed me. Those trees are probably hundreds of years old and have many more years to live, while this is all so new still for Slaiden. In the 19 months of his life he has been to lots of places and he has seen many things, but he hasn’t been climbing in lots of trees yet. Getting the chance to do this in Moss City was amazing. Continue reading
James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve
A couple of days into our road trip of a couple of weeks ago, we stayed in Half Moon Bay for a 2 days. We stayed with Stacy’s godparents and it was the best. They took us to a couple of places and I could also use their bike to go explore and take pictures by myself whenever I felt like. It was nice to just be around people as kind as they were. Continue reading
Driving on the beach in Oceano Dunes
Yesterday evening we arrived back home after having an unforgettable week of roadtrippin’ along the west coast. We saw amazing things, stayed at unique places, were surrounded by the sweetest people and just had a great time doing what we love.
The first stop on our road trip was an unforgettable one. Continue reading
Big Sur
One of the stops on our road trip I was very exciting about was Big Sur. I had seen lots of pictures of this place and it totally met my expectations. The drive was beautiful and the views were amazing. Every couple of miles we made little stops so I could take some pictures. I also had the most delicious tomato soup at Nepenthe, a little restaurant with a great view in the middle of the Big Sur mountains. Definitely a place to go if you get hungry on the way. Continue reading
Hanging bridge
During my stay in La Ceiba I didn’t have time enough to visit the actual Pico Bonito National Park. I was dying to go to the waterfall but it was a long hike and after we went rafting there was just not enough time to do the hike as it was getting dark already and that means that it would be pretty unsafe for a blonde girl to wander around in a huge park like that. Continue reading
