La Perouse (Maui, Hawaii)

maui-402-of-422

You might think it’s a lot, to have to read 2 blog posts in a week. I used to blog 3 to 4 times a week for months at one point and I loved doing it and I also liked having a ‘journal’ to look back at instead of just a bunch of pictures without written memories.  Continue reading

James V. Fitzgerald Marine Reserve

Tour Alice (5 of 23)

A couple of days into our road trip of a couple of weeks ago, we stayed in Half Moon Bay for a 2 days. We stayed with Stacy’s godparents and it was the best. They took us to a couple of places and I could also use their bike to go explore and take pictures by myself whenever I felt like. It was nice to just be around people as kind as they were. Fish & tajaditas

omoa (4 of 5)

During my 2,5 week stay in Honduras, I went to Omoa twice. Omoa isn’t a known place among tourists, but the locals love it and they know all about the best places to eat, the cleanest beaches and the most charming little spots to explore. Eduardo took me to this amazing fish restaurant with a beach view and I must say, it was perfect. The food was delicious, the natural juices that they were serving were very rico and the little sea breeze made the whole setting even better.  Continue reading

Rio Coto

DCIM100GOPRO

Honduras is a beautiful country. One that I carry in my heart. The first weekend I spent in Honduras, 2 weeks ago, my host family took me to Rio Coto where we met up with our neighbors. We ate the most delicious en fresh fried fish with tajadas and rice and beans. We swam in the water, jumped off the little pier, took some great GoPro footage, build sandcastles, took a ride on the banana boat and just enjoyed the great view of the surroundings. Thoughts on National Parks & the ultimate feeling of freedom

DSC_4467-2kopie

Before I came down to the US, 10 months ago, I thought that National Parks were a combination of Disneyland and the zoo. I didn’t really know what they really were. I thought it was just one of those touristy things, that people want to see when they are in a certain area. Now that I’ve been to 3 of those parks (Grand Canyon, Joshua Tree and Olympic National Park) I have a better idea of what a National Park is. Continue reading

Spotted: USC sorority girls

DSC_2936-2kopie

Julie Crombé here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of LA’s elite…

Walking through USC is like walking in a movie scene. The buildings were gorgeous, photography students were taking pictures of the beautiful sorority girls who were about to graduate, there were little fountains, colorful flowers, a super old and thick tree and everyone is looking happy.

Feeling Fancy on Rodeo Drive

DSC_2056-2kopie

A couple of weeks ago I had the car for myself for a whole week, which meant that I had the chance to explore some places out of my bubble (Redondo/Manhattan/Hermosa Beach). I went to Beverly Hills to walk around on Rodeo Drive and I loved it. People there are walking around with real and gorgeous Chanel bags, they are driving the coolest cars and they are wearing the most fashionable outfits. People actually wear high heels there, which is pretty different from the work-out clothes fashion situation in the city I live in! 😉 Continue reading

Walk the walk & Talk the talk

“Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.”

Doesn’t this quote perfectly fit in with this picture? Do you have a favorite travel quote? I’d love to know about it! For my typography class I have to make a final project and the only things we have to do is to chose a word and a quote and create a nice typographic poster with it. I decided to chose for Wanderlust as the word I’m going to work with. I’m just not completely sure yet which quote I should use in my work. Continue reading
