A little while ago I went to the park with Slaiden and his girl next door, Mia (and her parents). I remember when they first met each other they were both so tiny and they didn’t really interact. Now that they both turned 1 and they are walking they actually start liking each other and they want to play together. I really like to watch babies (or should we call them toddlers already?!) because it’s funny to see how they all like the same things. They like to get dirty in the sand, they like eating the sand and they love getting off the slides. Slaiden actually likes running off the slides which is pretty dangerous, so I always have to keep both eyes open when I take him to the park. (Has anyone else experienced something like this before? What did you do about it?) Continue reading

Today’s recipe is something that you can eat for breakfast, for lunch or as a regular snack. It’s sugar free, healthy and absolutely delish! It’s also really easy to make, so I recommend you to just try it out! For the people amongst you that are not a big fan of spinach, don’t worry because you barely taste the spinach in the little cakes! 😉 Continue reading
Feeling Fancy on Rodeo Drive
A couple of weeks ago I had the car for myself for a whole week, which meant that I had the chance to explore some places out of my bubble (Redondo/Manhattan/Hermosa Beach). I went to Beverly Hills to walk around on Rodeo Drive and I loved it. People there are walking around with real and gorgeous Chanel bags, they are driving the coolest cars and they are wearing the most fashionable outfits. People actually wear high heels there, which is pretty different from the work-out clothes fashion situation in the city I live in! 😉 Continue reading
Recipe: My favorite breakfast
I won’t call myself a good cook, but I make the best breakfasts. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I don’t only want to start the day with a breakfast that tastes good, I also want it to look good! I’m always pretty proud on my breakfast bowl creations and I like to share them on my social media too. I think it’s fun to always try to add different ingredients on regular oatmeal so I wanted to share with you which toppings I used for this bowl. Continue reading
Walk the walk & Talk the talk
“Travel as much as you can. As far as you can. As long as you can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place.”
Doesn’t this quote perfectly fit in with this picture? Do you have a favorite travel quote? I’d love to know about it! For my typography class I have to make a final project and the only things we have to do is to chose a word and a quote and create a nice typographic poster with it. I decided to chose for Wanderlust as the word I’m going to work with. I’m just not completely sure yet which quote I should use in my work. Continue reading

A couple of weeks ago I participated on this contest that I read about on the blog of blogger babe Sincerely Jules. The winner of the contest would get styled by her during a fashionable event at the Armani store in Beverly Hills. Continue reading

I love seeing the sunset. I love it while sitting down, while standing up. I love it alone or in the company of good friends. I love it at the beach and in Joshua Tree. A sunset is a gift. It can’t make you not dream away and think about how lucky you are to live the life you’re living. Continue reading

Warrior Dash
Last week, I finished the Warrior Dash in San Dimas and I must admit that I loved this run! Even though it was only a 5k it was really hard for me, because the whole run was uphill. Normally I don’t like to run 5k’s anymore, because they are not a challenge to me. I’m at a point in my training that I don’t want to pay a lot of money for a race that’s done in less than 25 minutes. This run was amazing though, because it had lots of really cool obstacles.
