Julie

Welcome to my blog!

My name is Julie Crombé. I’m a 23-year-old Belgian student from Ghent.

Madrid 214I can describe myself as a blogger, a traveler, a creative kid and someone who likes to try new things and who likes to live new experiences.

I love to discover new places. That’s why I went to live in Honduras for a year when I was 18 years old, that’s also why I decided to study a trimester in the Liège (the French part of Belgium) and that’s also the reason why I did my internship in Salamanca (Spain). I like experiencing new things, you know. I love to be with inspiring people from all over the world, and I like to know their story.

At the moment I’m living in Redondo Beach, California. I’m taking classes that can help me with the job I want to have when I’m going back to Belgium. Last semester I mainly took digital art classes as I find it important to be able to work with the Adobe programs. It can help you give a creative touch to the work you complete on a daily basis. This semester I’m taking classes to become a personal trainer. I believe that a healthy body helps you lead a better and more energetic life and I just want to know how to help others and myself to be a healthier version of what I am today.

I hope that I can inspire some people by writing on this blog and by sharing the pictures I take.

Please give me some feedback if you can! It would mean a lot to me!

    Hi Julie!

So glad I found your blog, we have a lot of things in common. I recently graduated from college and I’m working in LA now. Just moved from Spain (Barcelona) a few months ago and I’m growing so much both professionally and personally here. Being an expat really makes you see the world from a different perspective. I’ve never been to Salamanca btw… how do you like the city? Have you visited more cities in Spain?

Best of luck in your journey, stay determinant and you’ll accomplish big things in life. Looking forward to reading more from you.

    Best,
    Yael

So glad I found yours too! Love your pictures and it indeed seems like we are kind of the same in a lot of things! Salamanca is beautiful! I was doing my internship there and absolutely loved the city and the people I met on the way! I also visited Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Marbella, Granada, Bejar, Zamora and a couple of other small cities! Spain was lovely! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! I followed your blog and I’m so excited to read about your adventures! xo

Thanks for the visit, will follow. Enjoy California! I lived there for over 20 years, just moved back to N.E. Wisconsin in 2011 and am now enjoying the winters again.

    Hello Julie,

Saw your comment on my Waterscapes Portfolio and thought I’d stop by and visit to personally thank you for the compliment. Thanks for dropping by.

Nice blog you’ve got here. I particularly like the “Girls in Tutus” post since I was overjoyed when Seahawks gave the Broncos what they had been deserving for quite some time.

You’ve got some nice photos. It’s been a long time since I’ve visited Redondo Beach, but it’s definitely one of the places I want to visit again–along w/many others in California…lol. I’ll be checking in on you every so often. Until then, see you soon.

Chargers are my main team and Seahawks are second. Went up to Seattle last July and I want to go back.

My wife and I have been making plans to go up north. Not sure of the exact day yet, but I’ll keep ya posted. If you come down south, feel free to drop me a line. You’d love the Oceanside Pier. My Twitter background image showcases it.

Love the underwater swimming shot elsewhere on your blog. I work for a Belgian company, have been to Ghent a few times (it’s so cold there in winter). Not sure I’d like California, but travel broadens the mind, maybe I’d be surprised.
