Wanderlust is a word that fully describes the way I am. I wish I could live that word every day.

What I love to do is to watch and share pictures I take while discovering new places. When looking back at those pictures I feel these strong and happy memories of what were the best days of the year.

The 3┬áC’s I’ve never been to that are on the top of my list for visiting are:

1. The Coast line of California
2. Costa Rica
3. Canada

The world is a book…

I love quotes, because in some way they always seem to motivate me!

My favorite quotes are about health/fitness, traveling and life. They make me think about how simple it can be to fulfill your wishes. You just always have to motivate yourself to DO rather than to wish for something!

The quote of the day is one that I love because it’s my ultimate dream to see the world. I’ve traveled quite a lot already during my 22 years of life. But now that I’m graduated I really feel like I have the age to travel in another way. I want to see the world without having the luxury to stay in great hotels. I’d love to stay more in youth hostels, to go couch surfing, to meet new and interesting people on the road… I’d love to meet people who have the same ideas about life and traveling like I do! I have been lucky to experience this way of traveling already during my stay in Spain so I’m already really grateful for that!

My original plan was to travel in the United States/Central America for the next year, but in the end I couldn’t do it because my friend with whom I was about to do this trip wanted to continue studying some more. Of course I can’t go alone, since I’m a girl and its not that safe to be by yourself so I hope that someday I do get the chance to meet someone who wants to come along!

I love scrapbooks!

As I mentioned in the title allready: “I just love scrapbooks”. At the moment I’m making a little book where I want to write down ideas of places to see and things to do in the United States. It’s a nice way for me to be creative and to personalize a boring notebook.

On the picture you can see a scrapbook that I made after I went to Honduras for a year with AFS. I’m actually really proud of that book, because I worked a long time on it and it contains lots of memories. Inside there are pictures of my latin friends, of places I┬ávisited in Honduras & of the most amazing moments I had with my boyfriend. It sometimes even makes me cry when I look at the pictures and the notes of that year. It was the best year of my life and I’m so glad that my parents gave me the chance to experience how to live in another culture, and to be around people you don’t know who don’t speak your language. It also makes me realize how time flies. I remember every single detail of that year as it was yesterday, but we are 2013 allready, and I was there in 2009 (till july 2010). Oh gosh, I’m getting old ;-)!

On the front page of my scrapbook you can see a little map of the country, and also some REAL money of Honduras and then some pictures and a little text about traveling, which I really liked. This was the text:

Travel is more than the seeing of sights;
it is a change that goes on,
deep and permanent,
in the ideas of living.
(By Miriam Beard Page)

I hope you liked the text and the scrapbook čśë
