It’s a while ago that I did an outfit post so I decided to go for it today! It’s a rainy day today (as you can see on my picture) so I couldn’t go outside to let someone take pictures of me! Today is a so called ‘from where I stand’-post!
I have been wanting to try out the camo trend for a while now and I scored this rather cheap camo shirt during sales and decided to wear it to go eating with my girl friends yesterday. It’s a really chill look and if it was getting too hot I could just put the shirt in my bag because it really didn’t take any space!
Have you guys tried the camo look? Let me know in the comments below! 😉
Today’s post is all about the Chi Chi Blogger Competition for which I had to create a wishlist if I wanted to have a chance to win a £200 voucher for their webshop. I decided not to create a random list of the dresses I like. This time I wanted to create a whole outfit with details that make the dress ‘a dress to impress’.
Chi Chi is a brand of the cutest dresses! Most of the dresses on the website are really chic and I could have combined them all with high heels to look really classy, but I decided to pick 2 of them. I wanted to make 1 really chic outfit and another one more casual! This is the result:
The first dress is one that I really love! It’s the Chi Chi Yasmin Dress. As I told you guys in my introduction this is the one that I combined into a casual outfit! If I would win the competition and I buy this one I would probably be able to style it in a million ways but I decided to use it for more of a festival look! I combined it with Converse All Stars, a Filles à Papa cap and a YOLO bracelet that they sell at Forever 21.
For the second item on my wishlist I chose the Chi Chi Eldora Dress because a girl can never have too many little black dresses right?! I made this more of a classy and expensive look. I combined it with Valentino shoes, the Cartier love bracelet, a Michael Kors watch, a Valentino clutch and a Chanel nail polish iPhone case. The items I combined it with are all items that I hope to buy one day if I win the lottery! 😉
If you want to participate on the contest you surely can! Just click here to read all the information about the contest and let me know about your wishlist in the comments below! You have until tomorrow (21/08/2013) at 5pm to post your wishlist if you want to participate on this giveaway!
What did you think about the outfits I styled? Did you like the classy one better than the casual one, or the other way around? 😉
Every week I have 2 days off of work and that gives me the opportunity to get some me-time and to work on the blog! Today I took the time to prepare a new Outfit of the day-post and this is the result!
I ordered these brand new orange high heels on Zalando about 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t wait to wear them! They were on my wish list for a while now and I’m so glad I finally purchased them! They are high, but so comfortable and I just love the color! They really give that extra touch to my outfit!
I was planning on showing this outfit with my animal printed blouse just like that, but since Belgian weather doesn’t include sun anymore since the start of this week, I decided to combine it with my denim shirt, which is my ultimate go-to piece! Continue reading
My cousin came over for a day yesterday and I love it when I see her! The weather was kind of ok here so my sister and me decided to take this cutie to the playground! It was so fun and she smiled the whole time! We are so lucky to have lots of facilities for little kids in my town, because the park must seem like heaven to her! Continue reading
A couple of weeks ago an American friend of mine visited me here in Belgium! She was only here from Saturday night till Tuesday morning so we didn’t have that much time but I still wanted to show her some nice spots in my country! We visited Brugge (Bruges), Brussel (Brussels) and Gent (Ghent) which is the city where I live.
The best way to go from one city to another in Belgium is by train. My friend Makara took some pictures of me down at the station and this was the result!
As it was a really hot day the day we wanted to go sightseeing I chose to wear a comfy dress with my converse shoes and I topped the outfit with a nice hat! Like that I even felt more like a tourist in my country cause as the top accessory I put my Nikon around my neck! 100% TOURIST… 😉 Continue reading
This is what happens when I go to the sales to buy some really cheap leftovers in my favorite stores… I come home with pieces of the new collection! 😉 I did tell myself before I went shopping that I wouldn’t buy anything over € 30,00 and I kept this promise to myself! I spotted this skort on some of my favorite blogs/Instagram accounts that I follow! I think it makes your legs look skinnier and I fell in love with this piece!
The blouse is really nice too because Continue reading
