It’s just the beginning

My gym’s sixty day challenge is over and even though food wise I didn’t do as well as I had hoped, I did everything I could on the working out part. I ended up gaining weight overall, but since it’s all muscle I’m very satisfied with that.

For the past three days, I’ve been doing people’s body fat tests and I’ve been taking their ‘after’-pictures. The most awesome part about doing this was the fact that people were so much more confident showing their body this time around. Where during the before pictures lots of people asked us to close the door while they were changing or posing for the camera, this time around no one did and everyone not only looked great, their confidence was just amazing.

The community we built these past 60 days is one that I’m so proud to be a part of. Every single person that’s part of the community has a story. Everyone had a different reason to make this healthy change and everyone worked freaking hard to get where they are today. Amazing things have happened and great friendships have been built during these last 2 months.

This gym has amazed me since it opened, but this challenge was truly one of the most eyeopening things I’ve been a  part of. I discovered a lot of things about myself and I know now that I can accomplish so much more than I thought I could. This healthy journey is awesome, and living a healthy lifestyle is easier than you think, if you just make sure to surround yourself with the right people.

Afterburn has made me love getting up at 5:45 to get a 6am workout in. It has made me enjoy doing workouts I thought weren’t for me. It has made me motivated to start meal prepping. It has made me look forward to seeing my fit friends who make time to stay or get in shape even though they work such long hours every day. It has made me appreciate so many things that I’m experiencing.

Thank you, Afterburn. You changed me in the most positive way!
