Little boys look good in leggings

Leggings are the most comfortable pants that exist. There is no doubt in that. If I could, I’d wear my workout leggings all the time. If grownups find leggings so comfortable, then why wouldn’t they be perfect for toddlers who are running around every hour of the day?! I found out about Sugarplum Lane through Instagram and after checking out the webshop, I knew I was in love with all the leggings they are offering. I paired these high-quality leggings up with a basic blue polo shirt and some sneakers, which gave the whole outfit a more boyish look!

Recipe: Guilt-free chocolate

One of my favorite snacks is chocolate. I know that lots of people will agree with me when I say that it’s not easy to say no to chocolate when it’s offered to you. I’ve been trying out quite a few clean recipes lately, but I have to admit that this is one of my favorite ones. What would you think of eating chocolate without feeling guilty about it? A little while ago, I decided for myself that I would start living a healthier lifestyle. Every since starting school, I have a pretty busy schedule. I take care of the baby during the day, rush to school in the nights, make sure I follow my running schedule 5 days a week and do homework whenever I find the time. When everything feels like a rush in your life (Don’t understand me wrong, I love the life I’m living and I chose to be so busy!), a good night of sleep is extremely important.

I have always been a bad sleeper. I used to barely need any sleep. I was ok with sleeping 6 hours a night, but after I got mono/Pfeiffer’s disease about 6 years ago, I started needing much more sleep, which was a hard thing for me. The amount of hours you sleep is part of your lifestyle and suddenly I had 2 hours less to be productive during the day.  Continue reading

Beach discoveries

The best thing about living in California is having the beach on walking distance of your home. I love to go to the beach and just hang out, even on a less sunny day. I’m taking a photography class and we have to practice taking pictures outside. The teacher told us to always either go out before 10 in the morning or after 4pm in order to take the best pictures. When the sun is shining too bright, the pictures don’t turn out as good as when it’s overcast. Continue reading

March Workout Schedule

Training for a half marathon is not an easy thing to do. It asks for a lot of motivation, dedication and will power. You can’t just show up at the race without months of preparation. I tell you, that would be mission impossible.

Next to running 5 days a week, I also have a weight lifting class (1,5 hour) on Monday and Wednesday evening and since I would love to actually have abs when showing off in my bikini in a couple of months, I added the Lorna Jane Ab Challenge to my workout week too.  Continue reading

Review: Flap Jacked Protein Pancake Mix

Those who read yesterday’s post about the amazing Bulu Box, probably saw that there was a Protein Pancake Mix included in the box. I tried them out and topped them with agave and blueberries, as you can see on the picture!

The pancakes were really easy to make. You basically just have to add a little water to the mix and bake them. One package is good for 6 to 8 pancakes, so you can easily make a protein rich breakfast for 2 with the mix. Continue reading
