One of my favorite snacks is chocolate. I know that lots of people will agree with me when I say that it’s not easy to say no to chocolate when it’s offered to you. I’ve been trying out quite a few clean recipes lately, but I have to admit that this is one of my favorite ones. What would you think of eating chocolate without feeling guilty about it? Wouldn’t that be amazing? For me, it sure is! The best of all is that it takes you no more than 10 minutes to make these raw, vegan & gluten free chocolates.
The only ingredients you need for 6 pieces of chocolate are:
– 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
– 1/4 cup agave
– 1/4 cup of natural unsweetened cacao powder
– a pinch of sea salt
Mix all the ingredients, except for the toppings. Once that’s done, you can put the chocolate in either a cupcake pan, an ice cube tray or any other solution you can think of to give the chocolates the form you want them to have.
Finish the recipe by adding the toppings on the chocolate. I chose to use shredded coconut and peanut butter, but the possibilities are endless. You could put some nuts, dried fruit, yoghurt or mint in it too.
When that’s all done, put the chocolate in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. The chocolates will melt if they are out of the freezer, so if you make a lot of chocolates, be sure to store them in the freezer!
Let me know what your favorite chocolate tastes like and what toppings you used when trying out this recipe! I’m excited to hear your input!
