Venice Beach Photography date

On Saturday I had a full girls day and I had so much fun! First I went exploring Santa Monica with Stacy, my neighbor Kiko and the babies. I’ll post the pictures of Santa Monica in one of my next blog posts. After that, I met up with my girlfriends in Venice. Both Yael and Amy are passionate about photography, so it was really nice taking pictures together and helping each other out with our cameras! We walked by the little canals and after that we were walking on the boardwalk and watching all the different types of people who were hanging out there. It’s a really nice spot. People are just doing their own thing there, which I love. There were some really muscular guys working out on Muscle Beach, people performing with a huge crowd around them, youngsters playing a game of basketball and of course there were a lot of people and tourists photographing the whole scene.

After walking around for a while we saw a bunch of food trucks and among those we found a cupcake food truck. I think this was the coolest thing ever. I mean, who wouldn’t love to drive around with hundreds of cupcakes in his car? I’d love to be stuck in traffic if I would have a cupcake truck! I would have the best time trying all of the different cupcakes! πŸ˜‰

What’s your favorite part of the LA area? What do you think about the gorgeous Californian sunsets that I have been posting on the blog?

Have a nice day and thank you for reading!

Hasta maΓ±ana, my friends! πŸ˜‰

Beautiful snapshots, you’ve captured Venice at its best. Thanks for the lovely pictures. They remind me of the “good old times” when I lived there!

Only days ago I met this fellow blogger who has moved from Europe to Southern California – where I used to live – to study. Today she’s posted pictures of Venice Beach and it was like coming home for me.
Best of all is the orange VW bus on her last snapshot – we had one just alike, less the camper roof πŸ˜‰ I hope you’ll enjoy Little Treasures’ blog post just as much as I did!
    πŸ™‚ Have a HAPPY day, everybody! πŸ™‚

Awesome pictures. I can tell you put a lot of thought into detail. I consider LA my “second city.” I spent a lot of time there as a kid since both of my parents grew up in the area (Pacific Palisades & Orange County) and my grandparents lived there. Now I have a cousin in Hollywood and a good friend in Venice and my husband travels down for work all the time. I’ve been known to tag along with him when I get the chance πŸ˜‰ Actually you can search my blog and find a few posts about my trips including the time I saw Britney Spears! My fave part of LA is definitely Venice Beach. I wouldn’t mind living there…. Thanks for finding my blog today! Happy to connect.
